In November 2023, we were blessed to have purchased a building so that we could expand our services to include ultrasound for those that are confirming a pregnancy or have not started OB care for their pregnancy. Being able to join their journey at an earlier point because of ultrasound is important, especially if they are making choices about whether to abort or carry the baby into the world.
The necessary modifications and upgrade to medical quality implied immediate expenses in addition to the building purchase, both astronomically over our operations budget. With encouragement from our community and donors, we divided the financial mountain into four phases. Each phase is a budget in addition to our program and operations budget.
We desperately need LIFE SUPPORT as we SUPPORT LIFE at both ends. While we do enjoy the office space, this is not about a nice office. It is about safety for those who come to us in desperate circumstances. It is about having a welcoming place for young parents to come to us when they need extra support, mentoring, and encouragement. And, it is about equipping them to be all they can be as parents.
